Cost to Repair

Description
The Cost to Repair calculation represents the cost associated with diagnosing and replacing all items (using Block Replacement) in a given isolated fault group.
Calculation
For a given isolated fault group, the Cost to Repair is calculated by summing the replacement costs associated with each item in the isolated group and the test costs associated with each test performed in the process of isolating that group:
where
FGx
=
the xth isolated fault group
Tx
=
the number of tests needed to detect and isolate a failure to FGx
TestCosti
=
the cost (monetary) attribute Test limit for the ith test used to isolate FGx
Nx
=
the number of replaceable items within FGx
ItemCosti
=
the cost (monetary) attribute Test limit for the ith item within FGx
Alternatively, an isolated fault group's  Cost to Repair is calculated summing the isolation and replacement costs for that fault group:
where
FGx
=
the xth isolated fault group
CTI(FGx)
=
the  Cost to Isolate for FGx
CTRepl(FGx)
=
the  Cost to Replace for FGx
