Exported Port

In the eXpress eXpress Model topology export format, the Port column contains the abbreviation of one or more ports that are associated with the entry in either the Object or I/O Flag column (there must be an entry in one of these two mutually-exclusive columns). Although, as Exported by eXpress, this column will contain only a single port in each cell, the eXpress Spreadsheet Topology Import can handle multiple ports in a single cell (provided that they are all assigned the same flow direction). The same port abbreviation can occur in multiple cells (so that multiple functions with different dependencies can be associated with the same port). All occurrences of the same port abbreviation in rows with the same entry in the Object column are considered to be the same port (the same abbreviation can be used to represent different ports on different objects, however). When more than one port on a given object are assigned the same abbreviation, eXpress will automatically modify one of the names during export (see Handling of Duplicate Names). Input port abbreviations from this column should also appear in at least one cell in the Dependencies column (otherwise, when imported, that port will result in a "lost input").

Information in the following columns, when included, can be used to describe ports listed in the Port column:
