The Items Objects Functions column, which appears in the Failure Rate Roll-up Table in the Aggregate Reliability Report, contains a hierarchical list of items and objects, as well as output functions for the lowest-level objects. Hierarchical levels of indenture are indicated by the indentation within this column. All lowest-order rows are unshaded (white) with bold blue text. All higher-order entries are shaded (gray) with non-bold black text (these entries are depicted using different shades of yellow in the example below).
Note: This report version also is to show Entries that represent unused functions, (out of scope) objects or items (at any level) are listed "unused" in red.
The first (non-indented) entry represents the Entire Design. The next level of indentation is used for all items within the top-level design (the example above contains two top-level items). For each assembly, the next level of indentation will contain all items in the lower-level design to which that assembly is linked ("Top Item 2," for example, is linked to a design that contains four items). For items comprised of multiple objects (via Item Reference Designators), these objects will be listed at the next level of indentation (above, the lower-level items "Item 1" and "Item 2" are each comprised of two objects). Finally, for each component (i.e., lowest-level object), the final level of indentation will list the output functions associated with that component.
Note: This report lists up to seven levels of hierarchical indentation. To review lower-level failure rate roll-ups in designs with a large number of levels (or with multi-object items at multiple levels), this report can also be generated for one or more of the lower-level designs.
