Item - one or more components, assemblies or connectors that constitute a single replaceable unit during diagnostics. Within a single design, multiple objects are considered to be a single item when they are assigned the same Item Reference Designator. In a hierarchical design, the hierarchical expansion determines when an assembly is considered to constitute a single item (as opposed to the objects within lower-level designs).
