Setting Defaults for Affected Functions on Failure Modes
Feature Description
How to control Failure mode default Options for affected functions
The Failure Mode Options dialog allows you to specify the default relationships between failure modes and functions.
On this dialog you can specify whether affected functions should default to “Never Affects” or “Sometimes Affects” (the “Always Affects” setting is too aggressive to include as a default). You can also select a threshold for the maximum number of functions that can default to “Sometimes Affects”. For objects whose functions exceed this threshold, the default relationships will be “Never Affects”. Use the up and down arrows to set the Threshold.
