- In Grid View, the rows can be alphabetically sorted in ascending or descending order based on the contents of any displayed column .
To sort the grid using the data in a particular column, click on the header of that column. In the following example, the grid has been alphabetically sorted in ascending order based on the Test limits that appear in the "Cost (in US Dollars)" column:
In this example, a plus sign "[+]" appears in the "Cost (in US Dollars)" column, indicating that the grid has been alphabetically sorted in ascending order based on the Test limits that appear in that column. Repeated clicks on a column header will toggle between ascending and descending sorts (for descending sorts, a minus sign "[-]" will appear in the column header).
Columns that contain Test limits for reliability attributes are unique in they provide four different sorting methods:
Reliability (MTBF) [+] - reliability expressed as Mean Time Between Failures, alphabetically sorted in ascending order
Reliability (MTBF) [-] - reliability expressed as Mean Time Between Failures, alphabetically sorted in descending order
Reliability (FR) [+] - reliability expressed as Failure Rate, alphabetically sorted in ascending order
Reliability (FR) [-] - reliability expressed as Failure Rate, alphabetically sorted in descending order
To toggle between these four different display/sort methods for reliability attributes, click repeatedly on the column header.
