Attributes are characteristics of elements of the model that allow us to control and measure aspects of concern about the model and it's parts. There are many types such as Cost, time, weight, Mission Phase, Test type, etc. A typical large model can have as many a 50 attribute definitions. Attribute definition are attached to the element that is being used or controlled.
