Metafile  - A piece of graphical information stored in a format that can be exchanged between different systems or software. In eXpress it refers to the storage method for a Symbol for the symbol library when building custom symbols built by a Drawing Program (ex: Visio, Coreldraw, Adobe Iliustrator, Painter, Word etc.)
