Naming Tests

Feature Description

Test names (abbreviations) can be edited using the Details panel or from within Grid View. Unlike functions, eXpress does not impose any special naming consideration for tests. Whereas function names can be made the same to indicate the same function, two tests with the same name are not considered to be the same test. Nevertheless, it is usually a bad idea to assign the same abbreviation to two tests within the same test set (since it makes it difficult to distinguish the tests in various analysis reports).

How to Name or Rename Tests (using Panels)

1
Select the test that you wish to name / rename

Choose the Details tab within the context panels.
3
On the Details panel, click in the text box labeled "Abbr" and type in the test name.
