Test Coverage and Interference

Feature Description

Be sure to understand the following chart and the definitions, implications and types of Interference outlined below. In making tests be sure that if interference on a test is turned off that the items within the interference part of the tests are coverage items in other tests. This will insure that these items will not invalidate the test to which they show up as interference. Items that show up as interference but are marked as not included will not be detected and therefore will not be part of the ambiguity set for that test when it fails.

Checking on Items turned off as interference in a test

When turning off interference use the "Test Coverage Browser" setup for "All tests" to see all "Functions or Failure Modes that are not covered by the developed (listed) Tests". This will allow the Analyst to find items that need additional testing.
