The binary compare can be used sucessfully to allow the analyst to setup test word that immulate the periodic BIT pass testing data in the real system. Here a fail of this Status word test might be setup as Limits 2 through Limit 14 with the "NOT" box checked to direct the diagnostic path into a troubleshooting senario based on the bit that failed.
