Test Coverage - the set of output functions and/or failure modes that an individual test has been designed to verify (or which have been later determined to be always verifiable using that test). For most tests, the coverage consists of the set of elements that are proven good when the test passes. A test's coverage does not include those elements associated with interference. When used for fault detection, the test's detection coverage may be smaller than the test coverage, since some functions and/or failure modes may have already been proven good by previous detection tests.
