Detection Coverage - the set of output functions and/or failure modes that an individual detection test can verify, given that tests are performed in the order specified in the given detection sequence (the detection coverage may change if the test is performed earlier or later in the detection sequence). For most tests, the detection coverage consists of the set of elements that are proven good when the test passes. A test's coverage does not include those elements associated with interference. A test's detection coverage may be smaller than the defined test coverage, since some functions and/or failure modes may have already been proven good by previous detection tests.
