Setting Failure Class types

Feature Description

How to set Failure Class Types

Class types are defined by assigning Funtional Class or Failure Class to the class as shown here

Failure classes are currently supported only at the level in which the failure modes are defined. The Failure class is used to distiguish several unique differences on Object Failure Modes that can occur to a Output function. [example: open and short on a capacitor output. The "Noise Immunity" class would be assigned only to open failures on the output of the Capacitor. No class would need to be assigned to the Short condition.]   This allows the analyst to reject the open condition from all failure mode tests whose coverage includes open capacitor failures due to the fact the open condition is undetectable.

If you wish to filter tests based on lower-level failure classes, you must create the tests at the lower level and inherit them hierarchically. See Hierarchical Classes
