Text Orientation on Ports

Feature Description

A port's text orientation refers to the direction in which the abbreviation appears for that port when the associated object is highlighted in the main design window. For ports that are closest to the left or right side of an object, the text will appear horizontally; for ports that are closest to the top or bottom of the object, however, the text will be printed vertically (both orientations are shown in the picture below).

Although, by default, all port abbreviations are displayed, the Analyst can specify the allowed text orientations (horizontal, vertical or both) for each port using either Grid View or the port Details panel.

3
If necessary, select "Ports" from the Contents Type drop-box on the Grid Control panel.
