Subsets can be copied into a design from the clipboard using the Paste operation. When pasted, the subset(s) are merged with existing subsets in the design. When being pasted, subsets will remain consistent to their original definition, and will not remap any part of the definition to point to the design into which the paste occurs. This means, for example, that unless the other subsets referred to by a combination subset are pasted along with the combination (at the same time), the definition for the combination subset will be cleared out.
How To Paste Subsets

Right-click on the top-level "SUBSETS" folder in the Explorer Tree and select "Paste" from the pop-up context menu.
Alternative 1: Choose "Paste" from the Edit menu.
Alternative 2: Use the Paste icon on the Standard toolbar.
