Spreadsheet Test Import

 

Feature Description

 

Importing  Tests

 
When "Spreadsheet Import" is selected in Data Source Administration & "New Data Source" is selected the window at the right will open to select "Spreadsheet Test Import" and then "OK".
 
 "Filters" can be used to downselect existing imports for updating spreadsheet data from past imports.
 
 

Spreadsheet Format for test Importing

 
The Spreadsheet below (File Name Braking Test Import Sheet.xlsx) can be used to import Tests to the test set as shown below.

The 5 steps needed to Import Tests:

When "New" is selected in Data Source Administration the panel below will open allowing the operator to select

"Spreadsheet Test Import". Then the right section of Data Source Administration wil show the "Data Source Properties " for  Tests Import allowing the Analyst to Select

"Data Source Filename" Path on the disk. Now the Analyst must select in the

"Test name", "Test Coverage", "Object", "Destination Test Set", and Test Type.

"Done" is selected the testswill appear in the specified Test set.
 
Selecting "Update Now" will Update tests already in the model or add them if they do not exist as shown below.
 
Note:  Importing Inspection Tests cannot setup Symmetry on these these tests. The default Operation/Malfunction must be changed manually if required.
Note2: The Term "Matrix" in the above sample is the tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet. Multiple tabs can be setup for differnet test sets.
