The Advanced status dialog supports up to ten simultaneous threads during the calculation of fault isolation, with the calculation status of each thread shown in a separate window.
Here, isolation is being calculated on a computer that supports eight processing threads. Six of the eight threads have been enabled for this run of the diagnostics—which, if you look at the blue window in the middle, you will see has added 77,000 isolation tests in a little over a minute (such is the glory of multi-threading!!). Additional threads can be enabled by clicking on the small green button below each disabled status window (the two windows without a button represent the ninth and tenth threads, which are unavailable for use on a quad-core system).
