For both design files and diagnostic studies, you can now use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out in the main design window. To do this, simply hold down the Ctrl key on the keyboard as you move the wheel. In previous versions of eXpress, the design would pan (move horizontally) when you held down the Ctrl key during mouse-scrolling. Panning is now performed by holding down the Shift key as you move the wheel. With these changes, mouse-scrolling in eXpress now follows the conventions used in the interfaces of several popular drawing tools.

Hold left hand mouse button down while moving from one diagonal corner of area to other diagonal corner of area to Lasso. When mouse button is released it opens window shown below to zoom area Lasso'd as shown below.
