A new operation allows you to assign a selected function or failure class to all functions or failure modes in the coverage of a selected test. Right click on one or more tests or test sets in the Explorer Tree and select “Assign Class to Coverage…” from the pop-up menu. The following dialog will then appear:

 

 

Enter the name of the class that you wish to assign to the selected test(s)’s coverage. When a single test is selected, the class name will default to the test name on this dialog. Once you click on the OK button, then—if the specified class does not already exist in the design—a dialog will appear asking whether or not you wish to create a new class.
