Assigning Values

 

Feature Description

 
Unlike Attributes associated with other design elements (e.g., objects), where a different value can be assigned for each element, design Attributes can have only a single assigned value (there is no default for these Attributes). Attribute values can be assigned using either Grid View or the Attributes panel.
 

How to Assign Design Attribute Values (using Grid View)

Click on the design background so that no design elements are selected.

Click on the Grid View icon on the View toolbar.

Enable "Design Attributes" on the Grid Control panel.

Edit the value that is in the column that represents the desired Attribute.
 
 

How to Assign Design Attributes (using the Attributes panel)

Click on a blank area of the design to dehighlight everything.

Choose the Attributes tab within the context panels.

On the Attributes panel, highlight the desired Attribute and make the changes using the Attribute's editing field (to the right of the grid).
