States to Constrain Interference on Signature Tests
Feature Description
Prior to version 6.2, interference was calculated for signature tests based on the default setting of each object state in the “path”. Now, for newly created signature tests, states will be ignored by default as interference is calculated. If you wish to take states into consideration, there is a new checkbox (“Base Interference on Selected States”) on the Test Interpretation panel:
The setting can also be changed in Grid View (where it can be easily copied and pasted to other tests).
When this checkbox is enabled, then each of that signature test’s selected locations will have a “Selected Object States” folder that can be used to control interference in the same way that coverage is controlled using states on a path-based (operational, Analyst-initiated or probe) test.
