Object abbreviations can now be rotated by clicking on the new "Rotate Text" icon on the Formatting toolbar (depicted above). With each click of this icon (which is enabled when one or more objects are selected in the design window) the object abbreviations will rotate 90 degrees. There is also a new “Rotate Text with Object” option on the object Details panel:
By default, the “Rotate Text with Object” checkbox is enabled only for I/O flags (and disabled for all other object types). This means that, for I/O flags added using eXpress 6.2 or later, the text will rotate along with the flag.
For existing designs, this option can be enabled using either the Details panel (for individual objects) or the Batch
