Keyboard Navigation in the Diagnostic Flow Diagram
Feature Description
When you are viewing the Diagnostic Flow Diagram, the keyboard can now be used to navigate the diagram in more ways than before.
Home key – If, with a detection test or prognosis cell highlighted in the Diagnostic Flow Diagram, you press the Home key on the keyboard, the diagram will scroll to the top. If, however, you press the Home key when an isolation test or fault group cell is highlighted, the diagram will now scroll to the detection test associated with that cell.
End key – If, with a cell highlighted on the Diagnostic Flow Diagram, you press the End key on the keyboard, the diagram will now scroll down to the last cell in the “pass” path that emerges downward from the highlighted cell. If you hold down the shift key as you press End on the keyboard, the diagram will scroll to the last cell in the “fail” path that emerges from the right side of that cell. If no cell is highlighted, pressing the End key will cause the window to scroll to the bottom left corner of the flow diagram.
Page Up and Page Down keys – These keys are now used to page vertically through the Diagnostic Flow Diagram (or horizontally, if you hold down the Shift key at the same time). In previous versions of eXpress, the arrow keys were used for paging.
Arrow keys – The up, down, left and right arrow keys on the keyboard are now used to move through the Diagnostic Flow Diagram in small increments.
