Report Overview
The Fault Isolation Reports contain metrics that describe the fault isolation capability of a diagnostic design and its performance under diagnosis. Among the information in this report are common Testability and Maintainability metrics that are useful when assessing the capability of a diagnostic design.
Report Content
The information in the Fault Isolation Report is divided into three categories (for each of these categories, there is an individually-selectable section in the report):
When the Fault Isolation Report is invoked, the Fault Isolation Report options dialog appears, allowing the analyst to select which sections of the report are to be generated. If Fault Group Size Percentages are to be included in the report, then the analyst may also specify the Fault Group Counting Method and the Lambda Search Criteria to be used in calculating the metrics that appear in this section. This dialog also allows the analyst to select the format of the generated report.
