Although it is not used within eXpress analyses, it is often useful for the Analyst to associate a text description with each Operating Mode, explaining his intentions behind creating that mode (this is useful not only for future Analysts, but also in helping original Analysts reconstruct their own thought processes at a later date). Operating mode descriptions are entered on the Details panel.
How To Edit the Description for an Operating Mode

In the Explorer tree, select the Operating Mode(s) to be edited.

Choose the Details tab within the context panels.

Type or modify the text in the Description field on the Details panel.
