Isolation Probabilities Using Testing Only refers to a pair of columns that appear in the Fault Group Size Percentages section of the Fault Isolation Report. These columns (which are highlighted in yellow in the example below) provide numbers that describe the probability that fault groups of various sizes will be isolated by the diagnostic sequence that has been generated within the specified diagnostic study. These probability-weighted Test limits (which are based on the assumtion that the system will be maintained using Block Replacement) reflect the expected frequency that these different fault group sizes would be isolated in a fielded system.
