Isolation Probabilities Using Lambda Search - Size Column

The Size column in the Fault Group Size Percentages section of the Fault Isolation Report (which is highlighted in yellow in the example below) lists the different fault groups sizes that can be isolated by the diagnostic sequence in the current diagnostic study. When lambda search is not used, this column will contain only the sizes of the actual isolated fault groups within the diagnostic sequence. When lambda search is employed, however, this column will also contain sizes that reflect the number of replacements expected if the design were to be supported using serial replacement with lambda search as the prioritization criteria.
