Complex Test - an eXpress test that is based on other, existing test definitions (with test coverage and interference being automatically determined by the software). Two types of complex test definitions are available within eXpress:
ForĀ hierarchical tests, the Analyst specifies the lower-level testĀ to be inherited and eXpress determines the possible upper-level test locations where the inherited coverage may be visible (the Analyst specifies which of these locations can be used during testing). Upper-level coverage and interference is then calculated based on the selected location(s) and the type of test that is inherited. For group tests, test coverage is initially calculated as the union of the coverage of the tests being grouped.
