Although there are several ways in which objects can be created (such as the Paste operation), the basic method is to drag-and-drop a symbol from the eXpress Symbol Library.
How To Create Objects

Find the symbol you want to use in the Symbol Library.

Drag-and-Drop the symbol from the library onto a blank area of the design sheet.

Convert the object to the appropriate type (if necessary)
