In order to define Attributes there is a need for various types. Following is a list of Attribute types and Links to further define usage and generation of the Attribute type.
 

How to work with Attributes

- Each of the following attribute types are addressed in Defining Attributes and the links shown below.
 
Attribute Types
Definition
The checklist attribute allow the Analyst to select one of multiple definitions (Can be mutual excluive or non-mutual excllusive)
The distribution attribute is used for defining the probability density functions associated with reliability data.
The integer attribute is used for assigning any whole number in the range of 1.7E +/- 308, with 15 digits of precision.
The monetary attribute is used for assigning costs.
The real attribute is used for assigning any real number in the range of 1.7E +/- 308, with 15 digits of precision.
The reliability attribute is used for assigning reliability values to elements in a design.
The text attribute is used for assigning a text value of any length.
The time attribute is used for assigning times, using a combination of a real number along with optional units.
This new attribute type addresses situations where you wish to select one of a large or varying set of enumerated settings.
