Grid View offers a powerful interface that allows "Attribute values" to be easily and quickly edited. Attribute definitions, on the other hand, cannot be modified using Grid View (the Analyst should invoke the Attribute Definitions dialogto create or modify Attribute definitions).

If necessary, select the design element type (e.g., "Objects") from the Contents Type drop-box on the Grid Control panel.
4
Enable the corresponding Attributes section on the Grid Control panel.
5
Select the cell containing the Attribute value that you wish to edit.
5
Checklist Attributes: Click on the dropbox arrow that appears within the cell (or double-click on the cell contents) to display the list of defined alternatives for that checklist Attribute. Select the desired value from this list.
Other Attribute types: Type the new Attribute value and press the <ENTER> key on the keyboard. The next cell in the column will then be active for editing. To exit the cell editing mode, press the <Esc> key or click on another cell in the grid.
