The Auto-Connect operation is an extremely powerful capability of eXpress, allowing the Analyst to automatically create nets for any number of selected ports. Nets can be created for all ports, ports with matching abbreviations or ports that occupy similar positions on adjacent objects. Alternatively, selected ports can be connected to I/O flags automatically created by this operation.
How to invoke the Auto-Connect operation (using Menus)
Right-click on one of the selected ports (or on the background of the design sheet) to display the pop-up context menu for ports.
Alternative: Select Ports within the Design menu.

Choose "Auto-Connect..." from the displayed menu. The Auto-Connect Options dialog will now appear.

Select the desired options on the Auto-Connect Options dialog and click on the "OK" button.
