The Cost to Isolate calculation represents the total test cost associated with detecting and isolating a failure to a given fault group.
Calculation
For a given isolated fault group, the Cost to Isolate is calculated by summing the test costs associated with each test performed in the process of isolating that group:
where
FGx
=
the xth isolated fault group
Tx
=
the number of tests needed to detect and isolate a failure to FGx
TestCosti
=
the cost (monetary) attribute Test limit for the ith test used to isolate FGx
