How to automatically arrange the ports on an object
eXpress can automatically arrange the ports on an object. By default, eXpress forces ports to be placed on the side of the object, but keeps them on the same side as they were originally placed. It is possible to reconfigure this behavior on one or more objects using the Port Auto-Distribute Settings dialog shown below. When Objects are linked to a lower level model the top level ports normally need to be re-arranged to distribute them into the top model in a manner that makes the model look good.
