Adding a Failure Effect Description

Feature Description

The failure effect description field allows the Analyst to provide additional annotations for each failure effect. This field is particularly useful when a failure effect cannot be effectively described within the abbreviation field. The Analyst can use the description field to clearly describe the failure effect so that it can be easily understood by another engineer. The description is for information only, and eXpress does not refer to it for any calculation purposes. Failure effect descriptions can be edited using the Failure Effects panel (for object effects) or the Design Failure Effects panel (for design effects). Both object and design failure effect descriptions can also be edited within Grid View.
