The AB state identifies the pathway between ports A and B, as indicated in the picture shown below. In the definition for this state, the output functions Ab and B should be listed as active functions.
In the following panel, we show the dependencies for the output function AB, which appears on port A. To find this panel, click on port A and select the "Output Functions" tab. The B function, which appears on port B, is similar and just depends on A.
To support the full bidirectionality, we've enabled both the B and AB functions. It is essential to include both, otherwise the state will reduce the functionality to a single direction, which is not desirable in this case.
