When the All Nets Editing Mode is invoked, the main design window is updated so that all objects are colored gray and all annotations are hidden (since nets cannot be connected to annotations). As the mouse pointer is moved over different objects in this window, the ports on that object will display. A new net is created by first clicking on an unconnected port in this mode.
In Net Editing Mode, the Explorer Tree is rebuilt to contain a list of all net that exist in the design. This list can be used to determine if names have been assigned to all nets or as a launching point for entering the Net Editing Mode for a specific net (since, for larger designs, it may be easier to select a net from a list of named nets than it is to click on that net in the main design window).
In All Nets Editing Mode, many of the operations that are available in Standard Editing Mode have been disabled. For example, objects can neither be moved nor deleted in this mode.
