Select Functions in the eXpress Main Menu then select Batch Update Input Filters
A series of changes have been made to the Batch Input Filter Updates dialog. The dialog can now be invoked by right-clicking on a net and selecting “Batch Update Input Filters” from the “Special” section of the pop-up menu.
On the Batch Input Filter Updates dialog (depicted at left), the option to disable automatic input filtering is now enabled by default—but only for the destination ports. For most uses of the dialog, this saves you a step, since you will no longer need to re-enable automatic functions on the source port. If you need it, however, there is now a second option to disable filtering for both source and destination ports.
By default, when this operation is performed, the “source” ports (that is, the ports associated with the function(s) selected on this dialog) will be marked as having “forced propagation”—provided that every net function emerging from that port has been selected on the dialog. With this change, forced propagation will be automatically implemented in the proper places without the Analyst having to manually edit the settings for each source port. This feature can also be disabled using a new checkbox at the bottom of the dialog. Finally, the settings at the bottom of the dialog are now saved to the Windows Registry when the operation is run, and will therefore be “remembered” the next time that the dialog is invoked.
