Path-Based Tests

Feature Description

When creating path-based tests, the Analyst selects the desired test location(s) and eXpress automatically determines the test's coverage and stimuli. The Analyst can then use various means to modify the coverage until it accurately represents the diagnostic conclusions that can be drawn when that test passes and fails.

How To Create Path-Based Tests

1
If necessary, create a test set to contain the new tests. Double-click on the destination test set to enter the Test Set Editing Mode
2
In the main design window, select the output flag(s) that represent the measurement location(s) for the test(s) to be created.

3
On the Design Editing toolbar, click on the test type icon that corresponds to the type of test you wish to create (Operational, User-Initiated or Probe).
4
Select the desired options on the Create New Test(s) dialog and click on the "OK" button.
