Detection Order Report Summary

 
In the Detection Order Report Summary section contains metrics that describe the overall Fault Detection capability of the diagnostics and design developed within the selected diagnostic study. One or more of these metrics are typically used to satisfy the fault detection component of contracted testability requirements (the specific metrics used will depend upon the specific terms of the requirements).

Note: When a range of Test limits is specified for the Total Functions Detected or Total Probability Detected metrics (as is the case in the example above), this means that there are functions and/or failure modes that can be detected, but not proven, by the tests in the detection sequence (for more details, refer to the discussion of minimum and maximum fault detection).
