This panel allows the Analyst to setup how the I/O flag is to behave when linked to a higher-level design. The Visibility field lets the Analyst specify whether that I/O flag should result in a port on the upper-level assembly (the two "Visibility" settings are “Provides I/O only within current design” and “Provides I/O to and from higher-level designs”). The first option is useful for modeling internal test points and functions which do not participate in the upper-level design. When the second option is selected, the Analyst can then set the "Rollup Method" for that I/O flag, specifying whether it will appear at the upper level as a single output (only one higher-level function is created for that flag) or as a multiple output (multiple higher-level functions may be created for a single I/O flag).
