Once function classes have been created and assigned to the proper function classes, these classes can be used in several ways. First of all, they can be used to populate object states. When one or more function classes have been added to a design, a drop-box will appear below the Active Functions list on each object’s States panel, allowing the analyst to automatically populate states with all functions that have been assigned a given class:
