Life Cycle Cost (LCC) - the total cost of acquisition, operation, maintenance and support of an item throughout its useful life, including the cost of dispersal. Although eXpress does not itself calculate Life Cycle Cost, the tool does provide several metrics (including Mean Cost to Repair) that can be used to evaluate the effect of changes to the diagnostics design upon Life Cycle Cost.
