Design Hierarchy Report generation Setup

Normal RTF Report:

Using the options dialog (shown below, you can now select which sections and columns you wish to include in the report. New columns include the hierarchy level, the assembly name and the location (Filepath) of the design file. You can also include a column containing an attribute for each assembly. You can also substitute an attribute for the ID in the Identifier column. Because the report is alphabetically sorted in identifier order, this not only allows you to use a Analyst- defined identifier (e.g., LCN) but also to group designs by an assigned attribute Test limit (e.g., Part Number).

The report can be generated in three formats—RTF, Excel and XML. You can specify the format using the dropbox shown below The default is RTF but if the Filepath or Object Attribute check boxes are all selected a warning will appear Report Generation Warning indicatting too much data for RTF format. the Analyst should then choose Excel Spredsheet or XML Report
