Measurement Signals may be defined either in a list defined by a selection attribute named "MeasurementSignal" or at the time the measurement is created as a non-predefined signal which is simple a text string entered upon creation of the signal.

 

 

Predefined signals are defined by an attribute selection list assigned to tests and named "MeasurementSignal".

 

 

 

Non-Predined signals are defined by selecting the add "new non-defined signal" button in the signal selection dialog and then entering the signal name as text.  If a selection attribute is already defined for predefined signals, eXpress will optionally allow the user to add the signal the predefined selection list at the time the signal is created.
