Moving "Dragging Ports"

How to drag ports

 
Moving single ports can be accomplished using a simple drag-and-drop operation. One or more selected ports can be moved to a specified side of their object using context-specific operations in the pop-up context menu for ports. Note: In order to Drag Ports the Port options panel must be set to allow port draging with distribute evenly turned off if the ports are to remain on the same side and is being place in a non evenly spacing with other ports. See Automatic Port Distribution Settings
 

How to Move a Port (using Drag-and-Drop)

If necessary, enable port dragging for the desired object(s) using the Port Auto-Distribute Settings dialog.

Select the Port to be moved.

Use a Drag-and-Drop operation to move the port to its new location on the same object. 
 
 

How to Move One or More Ports (using Menus)

Select the Port(s) to be moved.

Right-click on one of the selected ports (or on the background of the design sheet) to display the pop-up context menu for ports. 
 
Alternative: Select Ports within the Design menu.

Select the desired side (left, right, top, bottom) from the Move To submenu.
 
Notes:
