Detected - An output function or failure mode is considered "detected" when it is called into suspicion after a given test has failed. Fault Detection metrics based on "detected" elements are sometimes referred to as "maximum detected" within eXpress, since they utilize elements involved in a test's interference, as well as its coverage (see also: minimum and maximum fault detection).
