- This feature uses the same mechanism as all the other configuration templates that appear throughout eXpress — Diagnostic Study configurations, DiagML Export configurations, FMECA Plus configurations, Color Legend configurations, etc. Set up Grid View the way you want it and then click on the “New Template” button. You will be asked to supply a name for your template. Once created, the template will be available in all other eXpress models that you create on that computer. When you select the template in Grid View, all of the settings on the Grid Control panel—as well as the column order and widths from the grid itself—will all be set to match those that were saved in the template
