Study Statistics - Unused Failure Modes List

Report Overview
The Study Unused Failure Modes List identifies all failure modes in the given hierarchical design that only affect unused functions. This report will only list unused failure modes in design levels contained within the current hierarchical expansion.

Report Content
The Study Unused Failure Modes List consists of a single table similar to the one depicted below:

This table is comprised of the following five columns:

## column - this column sequentially numbers the lower-level, unused failure modes that are listed in the report. The last entry in this column thus specifies the total number of unused failure modes in the levels of the hierarchical design defined by the hierarchical expansion.

Failure Mode - this column lists all used failure modes that exist in the hierarchical design (up to the levels specified in the hierarchical expansion).

Object - this column lists the object for which the given failure mode has been defined. When the object exists in a design other than the top-level design, then a design prefix (colored blue) is prepended to the object abbreviation (colored black). The object abbreviation and prefix (when included) are all hotlinked to the design containing the failure mode. Click on the prefix to load the design file (if necessary) and then click on the object abbreviation to locate the selected object in the design window.
